The most downloaded app of 2022, according to Statista, TikTok may be best known for creating viral sensations for dance moves, pranks and challenges. But the youthful target audience isn’t only interested in entertaining video clips to pass the time. A new wave of entrepreneurial TikTok influencers are using the app to market their brand, sometimes a product, a line or even themselves.

Here are the top entrepreneurial TikTok influencers

Em Lucin — @emlucin

When Em Lucin launched Napoleon out of her spare bedroom in 2018 as a side-hustle, it started as just a swimwear label. It’s now a full clothing brand with streetwear, loungewear, and even footwear that helps raise money for animals.

Lucin launched her TikTok channel to showcase her products and educate other entrepreneurs on the challenges of launching a business. She films packing orders, shares business tips and challenges, and lets her 222.9K followers see real scenes from her sometimes chaotic home office.

@emlucin FRIDAY: Australian Open Vlog with Grainshaker 🎾 This was a partnership for my Instagram Reels not TikTok but I’ve posted it here additionally anyway cuz it was such a vibe of a day. I genuinely love their passionfruit vodkas #australianopen #grainshaker #melbourne #australia #myday #dailyvlog #dayinmylife ♬ original sound - EM LUCIN (Napoleon Wear)

Davie Fogarty — @davidfogarty

Before becoming a multi-millionaire with the launch of the wearable blanket “The Oodie,” 28-year-old Davie failed at six business ventures. Now he uses TikTok to teach, encourage, and invest in other prospective entrepreneurs on his channel while still showcasing his products, like The Oodie, on its own TikTok. On his channel, Davie answers questions and shares advice on topics like raising capital and foreign currency

This is the story of how I went from $500 to $500 million in 5 years. From $16/hr to launching The Oodie. Check out the full version on YouTube 🎥 🙌

Seun Here  — @kembeckled

Inspired to make wigs for Black cosplayers with natural hair, Seun Here launched Kembeckled Wigs. The creative concept landed the company a feature in Allure magazine in 2020, but it’s Kembeckled’s social media marketing that propels the business.

With 93.4K followers on the Kembeckled Wigs TikTok account, she keeps followers enchanted with videos on packaging productswhy they started the business, and how to prep your curly wig

Brian Moller — @bmotheprince

While many entrepreneurs use social media to sell products, Brian uses his platforms for marketing himself. After being let go from his job as a radio personality in 2020, the actor, comedian, DJ, and emcee started using TikTok as a creative outlet.

His hysterical content on boomers vs. millennials, COVID, the Milk Crate Challenge, and even the TikTok glitch quickly drew 1.9M followers. He now books gigs, sells merch, and partners with brands through his website.
