It’s an exciting day for TapInfluence, and we’re proud to announce that we’re expanding our footprint to include a new office in Mountain View, CA. The new space will give us access to top engineering talent between Boulder and Silicon Valley. “It’s literally down the street from Google in the tech epicenter of the country, and like Google and other tech juggernauts, we’ve realized the synergies between Silicon Valley and Boulder, such as a remarkable breadth of talent and intellectual capital,” said CEO Promise Phelon. “Our vision is to build an engineering team that moves freely between locations, exchanging big ideas and collaborating on advancements.”
Tap CA will open in early April, and we will be bringing on at least 10 engineers to continue building our robust product for maximum usability and success.

To head our growing tech team, we’ve welcomed Eli Gild, a seasoned technologist and data scientist, as our new CTO. Naming Eli as CTO is a mark of our commitment to technological excellence. As the leader of our new tech arm, he will be charged with developing and executing a robust technical strategy, partnering with Rustin Banks (our CPO and co-founder) and Joe Scharf (VP of Engineering) to drive innovation for our software platform.
“Our vision for the future of influencer marketing and our platform rests in our ability to harness the near petabytes of influencer, audience and performance analytics data that exists,” Promise said. “Eli has the right background and depth of experience to bring new levels of intelligence and scale to our platform. Although he’s a data scientist at heart, he’s also a proven strategist and manager with extraordinary foresight and operational expertise.”
There’s a palpable spark in the atmosphere at Tap HQ right now, and we’re excited for what’s to come. Read the full press release here.
